After a winter such as this one, with ample amounts of snow and record-breaking cold weather, it’s easy to start looking forward to the warmer temperatures that usually come with spring. When we think of this timeof year, we picture flowers budding and gardens sprouting. Although gardening season isn’t far away, one way to brighten up your space as the snow continues to linger outside, is to add a few plants to your indoor surroundings!

It appears that many are intimidated by the care of a house plant. Luckily, there are plenty that requires very little maintenance, and they have the benefit of adding light and life to your household.

Looking for something easy? Try adding an Aloe Vera plant. They only need to be watered once every three weeks and the gel that grows inside their leaves have multiple soothing and healing properties when applied topically.

Peace Lilies, English Ivy and Jade Plants are among a few of the great options that don’t require an incredible amount of attention. Not only do their pops of green look great, but these beautiful beings will also help filter the air in your home.

Don’t be afraid to add a few new earthly friends to your living space this month. I promise, you won’t be disappointed!
