Easy Mango Salsa Recipe


Typically with the heat of the summer, we tend to crave light, fresh food that helps us feel vibrant. This month, I thought I would change things up a little by sharing one of my favourite go-to recipes during the summer.

This mango salsa is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy and is an ideal topping for fish tacos, decadent burgers or even on its own as a snack accompanied by tortilla chips. It adds a beautiful, summery pop to your dishes — and it’s healthy!


  • 2 ripe mangos, diced
  • 1 small red onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • ½ jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced (feel free to adjust to your heat preference)
  • ¼ cup of fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • the juice of 1 fresh lime
  • salt and pepper to taste

Combine and mix all chopped ingredients in a bowl. Add the lime juice along with the salt and pepper, according to your desired seasoning level. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve.

An incredibly easy recipe that can accompany plenty of your summer meals. You can also mix it up by adding a few of your other favourite produce such as cucumbers or avocados. Enjoy!
