Community Directory

Onaping Falls (Onaping, Levack and Dowling) is full of ways to connect, explore and enjoy life in the North. From scenic walking trails and recreational activities to year-round traditions like Winter Carnival (1964) and Cavalcade of Colours (1987) there is something for everyone. Whether you are looking for schools, health services or local groups this community directory makes it easy to find what you need and be part of what makes Onaping Falls such a great place to call home.

Our scenic waterfall was created 1.8 billions years ago by a large asteroid. The Sudbury basin is the oldest and largest known impact structure on Earth. Our beautiful cascading waterfall is a 55 meter plunge surrounded by rocks and tall Red pine trees that tower over the area. The walking bridge runs across the top of the waterfall leading to a 2.5 km loop walking nature trail.
